About Nexus Elite
Our Story
Nexus Elite began in 2006, when a Grand Lodge jurisdiction found itself outgrowing an aging, office-bound system. Lodge Secretaries still had to submit paperwork by hand, and the Grand Lodge office had to re-key everything themselves. What was needed was a single, web-based system that let the Grand Lodge and its Lodge Secretaries collaborate directly — and that’s what eXcelisys was brought in to build.
Nearly two decades of continuous, real-world use have shaped the system since then. It’s been rebuilt and modernized along the way — including a full user interface redesign and, more recently, a ground-up framework modernization to keep pace with current technology — while steadily growing in capability: internal messaging, full membership accounting, office and officer tracking, committee tracking, electronic registration for annual and monthly meetings, a dedicated member self-service portal, and much more.
Built for the Long Haul
In 2018, the system was formally established as Nexus Elite under Nexus Elite LLC, with a second jurisdiction — the Grand Lodge of Arkansas — adopting the platform. In 2024, a dedicated Eastern Star edition was introduced, bringing the same proven foundation to Order of the Eastern Star jurisdictions.
